IE7Pro Preferences Window Settings

[edit] General Settings

• Enable Crash Recovery: Enables you to recover your opened tabs just before IE crashed.
• Enable Customized Context Menu: Adds the IE7Pro additions to the context menu of the page.
• Wide IE7Pro icon display: A wider section for the IE7Pro icon in the statusbar to counter the conflict with other Add-Ons like Google Notebook.
• Left Click to show IE7Pro menu: Enables left click on the IE7Pro icon in the statusbar to show the Statusbar menu.
• Enable Inline Search (ctrl+F): Enables the search-as-you-type feature which can be accessed by pressing Ctrl+F.
• Enable Spell Check: Enables the IE7Pro Spell Checker.
• Enable Single Instance: Forces all the tabs into a single IE window to make sure only one IE window is open at any moment.
• Enable IE7 Search Bar:

[edit] Tab-Einstellungen

• 'Tab schließen, wenn doppelt angeklickt': Schließt die Registerkarte, wenn Sie einen Doppelklick auf die Registerkarte in der Tab-Leiste.
• 'Open New Tab aus Adressleiste': Öffnet eine neue Registerkarte, wenn Sie eine Adresse in die Adressleiste ein und drücken Sie die Eingabetaste.
• 'Open New Tab aus Suchleiste': Öffnet die Suche in einem neuen Tab statt der aktuellen Registerkarte.
• 'Open New Tab von Favorite': Öffnet eine neue Registerkarte, wenn Sie auf eine beliebige Favoriten aus der Favoriten-Center in IE7.
• 'Open New Tab von Links-Leiste': Öffnet die Links in der Linkleiste in einer neuen Registerkarte.
• 'Enable Tab History Manager': Unterhält eine Registerkarte Geschichte, die von der Statusleiste IE7Pro Menü zugegriffen werden kann.
• 'Enable Tab Session Restore': Bietet Ihnen die Wahl, ob die Tabs wiederhergestellt werden sollen, die beim letzte Schließen des IE7 offen waren.

[edit] IE Settings

• Top IE Menu : In IE7, shifts the Menu bar above the Address bar. By Default, the menu bar is below the address bar.
• Hide Search bar : Hides the search bar in IE7.
• Max Connections per Server : Increases the number of connections IE makes to a server while opening a site.
• View Source Editor  : Opens the source of the site in your chosen Word processor.

[edit] Proxy

• Use Proxy (Toggle by ctrl+F9) : Enables quick proxy switching from the IE7Pro status bar menu. Add proxy by pasting it in the editable drop box.

[edit] User Agent

Use your own user agent string for IE by pasting it in the text box drop down list.

[edit] Tab 2 : Ad Blocker

Enable Flash blocking as well as Ad Blocking feature of IE7Pro.

[edit] Features

• Enable Flash Blocking : Blocks all the flash files on the page, and shows a grey block over the flash file. You can click on the block and display the blocked flash.
• Enable Ad Blocker : Enable the IE7Pro Ad Blocker.
• Enable Default filter rules : Enables the default filter rules supplied with IE7Pro. Disable this if you would like to use custom filter rules only. Although you can use both the rules, but any whitelist entry in default rules will also affect your custom rules.

[edit] Editing

• My Filters & Default Filters : Shows you the custom rules as well as the default rules so that you can edit them. Default rules can only be edited if default filter rules are enabled.
• Rule : Shows the selected rule.
• Filter Type : Shows what kind of filter the selected rule is.
• Add : Adds a new rule to the list.
• Modify : Modifies the currently selected rule.
• Delete : Deletes the selected rule from the list.

[edit] Tab 3 : Super Drag & Drop

• Use Super Drag & Drop : Enable the Super Drag & Drop feature of IE7Pro.
• Emulate context menu "Open in new tab" : Emulates the effect of "Open in new tab" from the context menu when using Super drag & drop.
• Open new tab in background : Open the new tab in foreground or background.
